We've moved to the other side of the world (aka, rural WA) since closing Tahi and Rose Skinfood, although we still have not found another alternative that works like the Skin Saver does!

We've needed to restock for our personal supply, and I have made extras for those, who like us, just can't find a better alternative.

Please note, due to our location and the availability of raw goods and shipping, some of the ingredients have changed (added Vitamin B3, oat oil and Neem oil, removed grapeseed oil, watermelon oil and passionfruit oil).

Refill pouches come naked, no fancy labels or instructions, please see our original balm information below if needed.

Best within 16 months, use by date can be extended by storing in the freezer until needed, or fridge once open if in hot climates.

I formulated our Skin Saver Balm for our daughter, to help bring her relief during her long struggle and recovery from Red Skin Syndrome. We needed something that was soothing, nourishing, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory. It needed to be good enough to eat as it was slathered over her body, lips and face during the worst of her flares. After a year of research and development the final balm was created, and Little Rose named it her “Skin Saver” as it was the only balm that would bring her relief.

We no longer use anywhere near the amount of Skin Saver as we used to now she has recovered, we use it as daily skin maintenance on eczema prone areas

It is a fantastic multi tasker, can be used not only for skin conditions like we used it, but can also be used as a nappy balm, intense moisture repair, lip protection from the elements and sunburn relief.

This balm is thick and provides intense moisture and protection, a little goes a long way because of the condensed formula. It is best applied to clean, damp skin (after a bath or shower is best), and I recommend using a spoon to scoop desired amount of balm out of tub instead of fingers to reduce the chance of bacterial transfer.

This balm has had fantastic results for individuals, and although it has been the missing piece in some customers skin solution, it is not intended to heal individual ailments. It is intended to provide a steroid free option that will provide relief while the user finds their skin triggers and heals both internally and externally.

Made using a mixture of organic, natural and food grade ingredients.

Organic rice bran, shea butter, and castor oils which have been studied for their skin nourishing benefits, they are also easily absorbed by the skin and rich in skin essential vitamins. These oils have been studied for their ability to soothe irritated skin, reduce redness and itch as well as act as natural skin barriers to protect from the elements.

Light zinc base so it doesn't dry the skin but provides barrier protection and locks in moisture when applied directly after a bath/shower

But most importantly, for us and many others who rely on this balm, this is the only blend Little Rose's skin likes, it doesn't sting when applied and she actually asks for it! (Anyone going through Eczema, TSW (steroid withdrawals), Psoriasis, Skin Issues will know the pain even water can cause on sensitive skin so I'm so glad we finally found a solution that works for us! )
